1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MindPowerAI ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms of Use with you.

2. Who Can Use MindPowerAI

MindPowerAI is intended for students aged 13 and older
Users under 13 are not permitted to use the Platform
We recommend that parents and guardians of users aged 13–17 review these terms and our Privacy Policy

3. What MindPowerAI Is

MindPowerAI is an AI-powered educational tutoring platform. Mindi, our AI tutor, provides personalized learning support based on your MindPower Profile.

🧠 Learning Intent: MindPowerAI is designed to guide your thinking and support understanding. It is not intended to replace your own effort or complete assignments on your behalf.

⚠️ Important: Mindi is an AI assistant, not a human teacher. AI responses may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies. Always verify important academic information with a qualified teacher, parent, or trusted educational resource.

No Professional Advice: MindPowerAI does not provide professional, medical, psychological, or legal advice. If you need support in any of these areas, please reach out to a qualified professional or trusted adult.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MindPowerAI only for legitimate educational purposes. You must not:

Use the platform in a way that violates your school's academic integrity policies
Submit AI-generated content as your own work without disclosure (follow your school's academic integrity policy)
Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or misuse the AI system
Use the platform to generate harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
Share your access code with others or attempt to access other users' accounts
Use the platform for any illegal purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform at our discretion if these Terms are violated.

5. Academic Integrity

MindPowerAI is designed to help you learn — not to do your work for you. We encourage you to:

Use Mindi to understand concepts, not just get answers
Follow your school's policies on AI tool usage
Be honest with your teachers about using AI tutoring tools

6. Safety & Wellbeing

Your safety matters to us. Mindi is designed to support your learning — she is not a counsellor, therapist, or emergency service.

7. Intellectual Property

MindPowerAI, Mindi, and all platform content are owned by MindPowerAI™
You retain ownership of the questions and content you submit
You grant us a limited license to process your inputs to provide the tutoring service

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

MindPowerAI is currently in beta. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time. We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy of AI responses, or specific learning outcomes. We are continually improving the platform.

MindPowerAI does not guarantee academic performance, grades, or outcomes. Results will vary based on individual effort, learning style, and engagement with the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MindPowerAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use as the platform evolves. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.
